It's Raining Purple!

So J and I watched Purple Rain this past weekend. J said I couldn't be black until I've seen it so I didn't want my blackness to go away, so it came in the mail from Netflix. I had seen bits and pieces of it but never the whole thing. What was I missing!

I loved that movie! It's close to 30 years old and it was awesome. For anybody who hasn't seen it, go see it right now. Not only is the music amazing but Prince is wearing the cutest boots! *breaks into Old Navy Commercial Jingle* How cute are these boots! How cute are these boots!

So that was an awesome movie. Plus we had good popcorn. Mmmmm popcorn.

New Blog, New Year

So I know I don't have to create a new blog and yes I know I could have just renamed my old blog but for some reason, I wanted a new blog.

New blog, new year.

I'm a sentimental fool but what do you know.



I started off my year with an eye exam. A full blown eye exam. They dilated my pupils, I read a chart, they puffed air into my eyes. The whole nine yards. Now everything is blurry, full and near sighted.

I have 20/20 vision still so that's good. J made me promise to get an eye exam by the end of 2009. I got it scheduled by the end of 2009 so I feel I'm close enough.

The year is starting off right and I feel comfortable. Thanks to all that made 2009 fantastic.
